Oh, my morning snow
The purest gift you are
landing on our forests
despite the sick life
of humankind
White promises you gave us
soft ideals to grant us
The tears of Gods are landing free
and bless the sins of humanity
Sheds of blood covered you
the purity against the filth
of a race that didn’t deserve you
melting into this mourning world
the sadness I feel will never end
For another winter you give the treasure
The hopeless light for humanity
blind to your sweet secrets
the doom and bleak days will remain.

I was always intrigued by this group's choice of album covers, it isn't every day that you see high quality space photos in this genre despite the rise of "cosmic" black metal. But the music blew me away, this sounds like Austere took the atmospheric spacey route. (I will assume it's a coincidence that both bands are Australian) porcelainheart-
Crushing blackened doom from this German band that counterbalances blinding fury with moments of surprising, melancholy melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 8, 2023
Tokyo band contrast black metal's brutal complexity with shoegaze's abyssal grandeur, resulting in an LP that feels crushing, yet infinite. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 24, 2022
